(11 November 2021, Hong Kong) Apollo Future Mobility Group Limited (“AFMG”, the ‘‘Company’’; SEHK stock code: 860; and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) is pleased to announce that it is hosting a showcase themed “APOLLO FIRE AND ICE” at MGM Theater at MGM COTAI to bring excitements and intense motorsport emotions to the Monte Carlo of the East during the 68th Macau Grand Prix following the successful conclusion of the Group’s participation in the 4th China International Import Expo (“CIIE 2021”) in Shanghai earlier this month.
Mr. Ho King Fung Eric, Founder and Chairman of Apollo Future Mobility Group, commented, “AFMG has cemented its position as an enabler of accelerated innovation in the automotive industry. This is the message we brought to customers, OEM partners and the public as we concluded our participation in CIIE 2021. We had brought to Shanghai the latest batch of our landmark proprietary innovations that are meant to bring not just surprises, but also a practical dimension showcasing what we can do in our high-performance and clean mobility pursuits. We are bringing Project EVO and EVision S to Macau, a city with a rich heritage of motorsports in Asia, to be enjoyed by a much larger driver customer community. The intense and emotional experience continues like fire and ice.”
The Apollo Showcase at MGM Theater in partnership with MGM COTAI will be hosted at 12-8pm on 19-20 November 2021 for public viewing featuring next generation hyper-car Apollo Project EVO and the future of electric mobility Apollo EVision S. These unique public viewing sessions present a rare yet valuable opportunity for audience in Macau to witness and appreciate the ultra-high-end hyper-car that embody cutting-edge technologies, and to immerse in the journey of future mobility.
Apollo Project EVO
The successor of the critically acclaimed Apollo IE hypercar, The Project EVO is commissioned with a simple brief to deliver raw emotion without compromise. The dominant, star-shaped daytime running lights introduce a new fascia signature detail for Apollo Automobil brand. The rear design celebrates 6 points of light illumination to communicate power and speed. Three large circular exhaust pipes express the raw power of the vehicle from a dead-rear angle. A full suite of active aerodynamics includes a large deployable and adjustable rear spoiler, aero fins and triangular air-intakes that dominate the profile view of the vehicle. This pure-breed speed machine features an advanced carbon monocoque and a handling package that ensure raw power and emotional aesthetics are matched by peerless handling and driving dynamics.
The Apollo Project EVO is a dramatically sculpted piece of design that always continues to offer an intense and emotional visual experience. It fits well in aesthetics and functions with Macau’s landscapes and formula motorsport racetrack. There is no better time to showcase this masterpiece than during the Macau Grand Prix.
Apollo EVision S
The EVision concept takes the best of the Apollo IE design and technical philosophy showcased in Apollo’s hypercars and overlays this into a more approachable and universal package for daily use. It has a four-seater setup of Apollo EVision S with a length of < 5m and a width of <2m gives a high usability even for families and a great and bold appearance on the street. It demonstrates Apollo’s trajectory towards new clean-air powertrains.
Respecting the passion and exclusivity of the very supportive Apollo hypercar owners and afficionado, the Group will announce price and production quantity details of these two new models in due course; and when they will be open for pre-orders.
Mr. Sung Kin Man Richard, CEO of Apollo Future Mobility Group, comments, “We are very encouraged by the recognition and flow of inquires we received at and subsequent to CIIE 2021. Our OEM and brand partners are anticipating to work with us to launch to their respective audiences their visions of future mobility and products that customers can use and enjoy. We are very pleased to continue this excitement in Macau and later in Hong Kong where we will present the exhibits to the investment community and the general public.”
